Employment Liability - Equine Law

Our firm is growing! We are creating two specialized departments, in the following areas:

- Employment Liability and Insurance:

This department is headed by Me Mélanie Maniez-Gevaert, who has been involved for more than 10 years in litigation related to employment liability. Mélanie acts on behalf of both insurers and their insureds, in the context of the latter being summoned before the social division of the Judicial Court, following the claim of an employee who has suffered an accident in the workplace. She is also called upon to analyze the insurance coverage granted to cover this risk of liability. Because of her experience, Mélanie has a perfect command of the specific problems related to this sector. She will therefore be delighted to intervene at your side, in order to offer you a solid defense adapted to the stakes of the case.

- Equine Law and Insurance:

This department is led by Me Lorraine Duzer, holder of the University Diploma of Equine Law, delivered by the Institute of Equine Law of which she is a member, following a specific two-year training. Passionate about equestrian activities, which she has been practicing for more than thirty years, Lorraine naturally turned to legal issues related to equine law, in particular those related to liability and insurance. Indeed, Lorraine has been involved for more than 20 years in general liability law and insurance law. She is now able to deal with liability risks and insurance issues related to equestrian activities. She will therefore be able to assist you efficiently in the treatment of these subjects, which are still little known, present a real complexity and require the intervention of specialists.

Of course, our firm remains very active in the field of business risks and insurance, both in Property Damage and Civil Liability.
